Can I transfer Non-Motor Insurance policies for my smart vehicle?

smart GAP Insurance
Yes, you can transfer at any time any remaining period of insurance on the policy due to a change of vehicle, subject to the replacement vehicle purchase price not exceeding the current price band of the original vehicle. There is an administration fee of £35

You must contact AutoProtect within 7 days of the replacement vehicle purchase.

No, this policy is non-transferable.

Does my Non-Motor Insurance product cover me abroad?

smart GAP Insurance
Yes. The vehicle can be used outside of the United Kingdom and within the European Union, for a maximum of 90 days per annum.

smart Alloy Wheel Insurance
Yes. Your vehicle is covered within the European Union. If an incident occurs, you have up to 30 days from noticing the damage to contact our claims department. You will be able to arrange a convenient time and place to carry out any repairs when you return to the United Kingdom.
