In addition to the fuel efficiency of a car, driving behaviour as well as other non-technical factors play a role in determining a car’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. CO2 is the main greenhouse gas responsible for global warming.
The details of CO2 emissions, electricity consumption and electric range were determined according to the prescribed measurement method and correspond to the Regulation (EU) 715/2007 in the applicable version.
All electric range and electricity consumption figures are from the WLTP laboratory test and are specific to this car. The new WLTP test provides a more realistic and reliable indication of what is achievable in ideal conditions than NEDC which is being phased out. However, as no test can fully reflect real world driving conditions and behaviours, there will always be some differences. These will depend upon various other factors such, including but not limited to, driving conditions and changes in weather conditions, individual driving styles, variations of vehicle weight and load, implementation and use of optional extra devices such as air conditioning and climate control. Comparisons between WLTP and NEDC assessed vehicles should not be made in relation to electric range and electricity consumption
Availability of model lines may vary by market. Shown vehicles may contain optional equipment and features which might eventually not be applicable to all markets. Further information on the official fuel consumption and the official specific CO2 emissions of new passenger cars can be found in the 'Guide to Fuel Consumption, CO2 Emissions and Electricity Consumption of New Passenger Cars', which is available free of charge at all sales outlets, from Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH (DAT), Hellmuth-Hirth-Str. 1, 73760 Ostfildern Scharnhausen, Germany, and at https://www.dat.de/co2/ or at the Vehicle Certification Agency of the United Kingdom at https://www.vehicle-certification-agency.gov.uk/fuel-consumption-co2/.
